Nava Telangana Praja Party head office is formally inaugurated on August 14, 2008 by Smt. Fatima Begum mother of Shaik Fakir belonging to warangal who died during agitation for separate statehood of Telangana in 1968 at the age of 19 yrs along with Smt. Venkamma, mother of Narsimlu who died in police firing at an age of 14 yrs during agitations for separate Telangana state.[4]
NTPP also paid homage to all 369 people who lost their life during separate statehood agitation of telangana in 1969 and also felicitated freedom fighters Konda Laxman Bapuji, Bhupati Krishnamurthy, and dozen others who lost their family members in the agitation.
